With the ITA Women's Team Indoor Championships beginning Friday in Madison, Wisconsin, there are no ITA rankings released this week, but from the seedings announced yesterday, the rankings are obvious.  Previously ranked third, Florida, who lost 4-1 to Florida State on Saturday, barely managed a seed, coming in at No. 8, and that due to Stanford not participating in the Team Indoor.  Florida's Brooke Austin has not played in any of Florida's three dual matches this season. Vanderbilt is the No. 1 seed in Madison after beating Baylor and Stanford last weekend.  The USTA's rankings, which is a weekly poll of college tennis experts (I do not participate), were released today.

During the Eddie Herr back in November, a film crew was following IMG Academy's Whitney Osuigwe, for a Trans World Sport feature.  Now available on YouTube, the eight-minute segment looks at the role Osguiwe's father, a coach at the Academy, has played in her rise to the top of junior tennis, and reveals Osuigwe's goals for her pro career.
